President Milanović Receives Delegation of the Alka Knights Society and Accepts Patronage of the 310th Sinjska Alka
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović today received a delegation from the Alka Knights Society of Sinj. Representatives of the Alka Knights Society informed President Milanović about the preparations for the 310th Sinjska Alka, which will be held this year on 3 August in Sinj.
The Alka Knights Society also submitted a request to the President of the Republic for patronage of the 310th Sinjska Alka, which President Milanović accepted. As in previous years, he will serve as the patron of this year’s Alka competition in Sinj.
In addition to the President of the Alka Knights Society of Sinj, Stipe Jukić, the meeting with the President of the Republic was attended by the Deputy President of the Society, Dinko Bošnjak; Alka Duke Mario Šušnjara; Secretary of the Society, Ivan Nasić; Chieftain Ivo Vukasović; and member of the Society’s Court of Honour, Tomislav Župić.
President Milanović was accompanied by Melita Mulić, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Human Rights and Civil Society.
