President Milanović Speaks with Mufti Aziz ef Hasanović

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović held a meeting with Mufti Aziz ef Hasanović, President of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community in the Republic of Croatia and academic. His Deputy Mevludi Arslani, the President of the Assembly of the Islamic Community in Croatia Mirza Šabić and the Secretary of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community in Croatia Nermin Botonjić were also present alongside Mufti Hasanović at the meeting with the President of the Republic.

During the discussion with President Milanović, it was emphasized that the Republic of Croatia represents a good example of integration and is a country with a tradition of respecting and preserving the religious and cultural foundations of Islam in the long-standing and exceptionally good cooperation between the Islamic Community and all state and local government units in Croatia. Likewise, the representatives of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community pointed out that the Republic of Croatia exemplifies having respect and promoting the highest standards of religious tolerance in the process of building a society based on understanding and trust.
