President Milanović to Attend World Health Assembly Session in Geneva
At the invitation of the Director-General of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the President of the Republic Zoran Milanović will attend the opening of a high-level 75th World Health Assembly session to be held on Sunday, 22 May 2022 in the United Nations’ Palais des Nations in Geneva, Swiss Confederation. President Milanović will address the members of the World Health Assembly on the occasion.
The World Health Organization is a specialized agency of the UN responsible for international public health, and the first president of the World Health Assembly was Dr. Andrija Štampar.
