President Milanović to Pay Official Visit to Swiss Confederation; Will Tour European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN)

The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović and his wife Sanja Musić Milanović will pay an Official visit to the Swiss Confederation on 6-7 April 2022 on the invitation of the President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis.

President Milanović will begin his two-day Official visit to the Swiss Confederation on Wednesday, 6 April in Geneva at a meeting with the Croats who live and work in the Swiss Confederation.

The bilateral part of the Official visit begins with an official welcoming ceremony in front of St. Pierre Cathedral in Geneva on Thursday, 7 April. President Milanović and the President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis will hold a tête-à-tête in Hôtel de Sellon, municipal building. Following the bilateral meeting, presidents Milanović and Cassis will visit the University of Geneva where they will take part in a panel entitled “Security challenges in Europe and Swiss neutrality“.

On the same day, President Milanović will visit the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Cessy where he will meet with CERN’s leadership, and will tour the underground experimental area. He will end his Official visit to the Swiss Confederation by meeting with the Croatian scientists, researchers and students who work in CERN.
