President Milanović with Coast Guard Members on Regular Patrol

The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović took part in a patrol aboard the Coast Guard ship “Omiš” on its regular duty of controlling and protecting the interests of the Republic of Croatia in its territorial waters and within the boundaries of the Ecological and Fisheries Protection Zone (ZERP).

The President gained insight into the capabilities of the Coast Guard ship “Omiš”, seeing for himself that the members of the Coast Guard of the Republic of Croatia successfully carry out all planned activities at sea and in the current circumstances related to the COVID-19 epidemic. The President expressed his support to the Croatian Army, the Croatian Navy and especially to the coast guard staff who perform their duties in an expert and professional manner, while respecting all self-protection measures.

Accompanying the President in the patrol were Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister

Damir Krstičević and the Chief of the General Staff Admiral Robert Hranj.
