President of the Republic Extends Best Wishes for Passover

The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović extended best wishes to the Jewish faithful for the Passover holiday.

“The Passover holiday symbolizes liberation from slavery, emphasizing the value of freedom for every man and nation while fostering respect of human dignity in society. In an era when peace and progress are threatened, and people must once again fight for the values that Passover symbolizes, we must advocate mutual understanding even more strongly and strive for respect among people and nations.

Let us do our best to make the messages of Passover a part of everyday life in today’s world and for them to remain a lasting inspiration to all mankind. Along with these wishes, I congratulate all the citizens of the Jewish faith on the greatest Jewish holiday,” reads the President’s message.
