President of the Republic Promotes Commander of the Croatian Air Force Krešimir Ražov to Brigadier General

The President of the Republic of Croatia and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović has issued Decisions regarding the promotion of two active colonels to the ranks of brigadier generals and the promotion of an active Captain(N) to the rank of Commodore.

Colonel Krešimir Ražov, Commander of the Croatian Air Force, has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General of the Air Force.

Colonel Željko Marinov, Commander of the Guards Armoured-Mechanized Brigade of the Croatian Army, has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General of Artillery.

Captain(N) Željko Jakus, Chief of Staff – Deputy Commander of the Croatian Navy, has been promoted to the rank of Commodore of the Technical Service.

The Decisions on the promotions were made by President Milanović on 29 December 2025 and come into effect on the date of their issuance.
