President of the Republic Receives Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received in his Office the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Jean-Yves Le Drian, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Croatia.

At the meeting between President Milanović and Minister Le Drian, bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the French Republic were discussed. The relations were described as excellent. Furthermore, the importance of cooperation within the European Union was discussed, primarily in the context of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and the continuation of the vaccination process.

The talks between President Milanović and Minister Le Drian also focused on the implementation of the Dayton Agreement. President Milanović highlighted the need to ensure full equality for the Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a constituent people.
