President of the Republic Receives University of Zagreb Delegation
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović has received a delegation of the University of Zagreb comprising the Rector of the University of Zagreb Damir Boras, the Head of the Office for Legal Issues of the University of Zagreb Ivica Šušak and the Rector’s Advisor for EU and International Projects Daniel Mondekar.
Rector Boras and his associates informed the President of the Republic about the University of Zagreb’s activities and the institution’s international standing, and presented him with the development strategy of the University which, as was pointed out, seeks to become a major research hub and regional leader. The delegation of the University of Zagreb – which celebrated its 350th academic year in 2019 – emphasized that the formation of a modern, democratic and multicultural society is in its strategic interest.
