The Republic of Croatia Should Not Take Part in the Board of Peace

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović had a telephone conversation today with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković regarding the invitation to the Republic of Croatia to join the Board of Peace.

President Milanović conveyed his position, which he already stated publically today, that the initiative of US President Donald Trump is legally founded on a Resolution of the United Nations Security Council. Although the initiative that contributes to peace in the Middle East should be welcome, it is President Milanović’s position that the Republic of Croatia should not take part in the Board of Peace, which he also conveyed to the Prime Minister in a discussion.
