9:00 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will lay a wreath and light a candle on the occasion of Vukovar Croatian Defenders Day at the Central Memorial in the Homeland War Victims Memorial Cemetery (Ulica bana Josipa Jelačića 266).
10:30 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will participate in marking Vukovar Croatian Defenders Day and the 35th anniversary of the formation of the unarmed units in Bogdanovci (Memorial in Bogdanovci, Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana, Bana Josipa Jelačića 1).

11:00 - The President of the Republic of Croatia and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will host a ceremony on the occasion of the retirement of senior officers of the Croatian Armed Forces. On this occasion, the President of the Republic will present officer’s daggers and decorations to retired senior officers of the Croatian Armed Forces. (Office of the President of the Republic, Pantovčak 241). The President of the Republic will deliver an address.
NOTE: Interested media representatives are requested to announce their arrival at the following e-mail: glasnogovornik@predsjednik.hr no later than Thursday, 26 February 2026 at 9:00 hours. The registration form should include full name, media outlet, identity/press card number, (journalist, cameraman, photographer) and mobile phone number. Accredited media representatives should arrive at the Office of the President of the Republic by 10:30 hours.

11:00 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović will attend a ceremony marking the 26th anniversary of the formation of the Honorary and Protection Battalion in the “1st Croatian Guards Corps” barracks (Tuškanac 36).
Media representatives interested in covering the event should announce their arrival at the “1st Croatian Guards Corps” barracks. The announcement of their arrival containing information – full name, media outlet, Identity card number and telephone number – should be sent to the following e-mail: ured.zapovjednika.pbz@morh.hr by 18:00 hours today. Media representatives are asked to arrive at the “1st Croatian Guards Corps” barracks on Wednesday, no later than 10:30 at entrance #2.
