President of the Republic Agrees to Prime Minister’s Proposal for Defence Council Session in May
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović welcomes the fact that Prime Minister Andrej Plenković accepted his proposal to convene a session of the Defence Council to discuss the draft Defence Strategy of the Republic of Croatia and the draft Long-Term Development Plan for the Croatian Armed Forces. The Office of the President of the Republic has received the draft documents, which will be analysed over the coming weeks in order to enable a thorough discussion at the Defence Council session.
The President of the Republic agrees to the Prime Minister’s proposal to convene the Defence Council session in May. The exact date of the session and additional topics to be discussed by the Defence Council such as the proposal to introduce compulsory military service will be agreed between the Office of the President of the Republic and the Office of the Prime Minister.
