President Milanović: CAF will not participate in the military parade in Paris, nor did the French come to Zagreb
“The Croatian Army will not participate in the military parade in Paris,” confirmed the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces, Zoran Milanović, during a press statement in Supetar. “Orders are not issued by the HDZ cartel, nor Plenković, nor Anušić, but by me when I deem it necessary, in situations I evaluate as critical, heavily politicized, and detrimental to Croatia, to our reputation, and our dignity. So, I do not know whom Plenković intends to send to Paris; perhaps the majorettes, whom I respect, but soldiers cannot go unless I permit it,” said the President, noting that according to the Constitution and the law, the Croatian Armed Forces are represented by the Commander in Chief, both at home and abroad.
President Milanović on Maritime Days: Sea is the cradle of the Croatian medieval state and our identity
“Speak loudly in promoting your story. Everybody speaks loudly and breaks through with a story even smaller than yours. This is not only the story about Vrsi, but about Croatia, as well. Croats are a maritime Slavic nation and that is something worth taking note and thinking about. It makes us unique and we must preserve that. The sea is the cradle of our medieval state, our identity, your identity,” said the President of the Republic Zoran Milanović last night at the 5th Maritime Days in Vrsi. The festivity is dedicated to seafarers and maritime tradition of the municipality in Zadar County, held on the International Day of the Seafarer.

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received today the delegation from the Croatian Association of Deafblind Persons “Dodir” to mark the first anniversary of the International Day of Deafblindness, adopted by the UN General Assembly on the proposal of the Association “Dodir” and the World Federation of the Deafblind, with the support of Croatian institutions.
