During the visit, they are scheduled to meet with Fr. Lovro Šimić at the rectory of the church, participate in Holy Mass, and meet with representatives of the Croatian community.

18:30 - The President of the Republic, together with his spouse, will meet with representatives of the Croatian community in New York during a reception at Delmonico’s Restaurant (56 Beaver St). The President of the Republic will deliver an address.

11:00 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will lay a wreath at the Monument to Croatian Defenders on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the military operation ‘Una 95’ (Ulica Vjekoslava Venka 82).

11:00 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will observe the final joint military exercise ‘Combat Power 25’ (EUGEN KVATERNIK TRAINING AREA NEAR SLUNJ). The President of the Republic will deliver an address.

Due to the use of live ammunition and elevated noise levels, media representatives are requested to bring appropriate hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs).

NOTE: Accredited media representatives should arrive at the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia on Tuesday, 16 September, exclusively between 9:15 and 9:45 using the entrance at Villa Prekrižje (Pantovčak 281). Transportation to the main building of the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia will be organized for media representatives.

18:00 - The President of the Republic will attend the promotion of the book “Hrvatska u Drugom svjetskom ratu 1941.-1945.” (“Croatia in the Second World War 1941-1945”) by Ivo Goldstein (Gavella Drama Theatre, Frankopanska 10)

12:00 - The President of the Republic will participate in the “Diplomatic Grape Harvest” – grape harvest organized for the heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited to the Republic of Croatia. The host of the “Diplomatic Grape Harvest” is the President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović, the organizer is the Town of Jastrebarsko, and this year’s “Diplomatic Grape Harvest” in Jastrebarsko will take place in the Jagunić Winery.
