KIJEVO

10:00 - The President of the Republic will attend the 30th anniversary ceremony of the opening of the Kijevo Police Station. On that occasion, the President of the Republic will lay a wreath at the central cross in front of the church of St. Michael. An address by the President of the Republic is planned.

KNIN

11:00 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will attend an oath taking ceremony and the awarding of berets to members of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion “Spiders” of the Croatian Army’s Mechanized Guards Brigade (4th Guards Brigade “Spiders” Barracks). An address by the President of the Republic is planned.

NOTE: Media representatives are kindly requested to arrive on Wednesday, 28 April 2021 at the 4th Guards Brigade “Spiders” Barracks, Matijaševa 2 Street in Knin, no later than 10.30 and to announce their arrival at the e-mail: infor@morh.hr by Tuesday, 27 April 2021 by 21.00. 10:15 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will attend the military exercise “Stability 21/1”, which will be held at the Gašinci military training grounds as part of numerous military drills taking place on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Croatian Armed Forces under the title Hrvatski bedem 1991-2021. The military exercise “Stability 21/1” at the Gašinci military training grounds will evaluate the 36th Croatian Contingent for participation in the KFOR mission in the Republic of Kosovo.

NOTE: Media representatives are kindly requested to arrive on Tuesday, 27 April 2021 at the 3rd Guards Brigade “Kune” Barracks in Đakovo no later than 09.30, where they will leave their vehicles and continue by organized transport to the location of the military drill. SAMOBOR

11:00 - The President of the Republic will attend the presentation of awards to the best producers of the Samobor Salami at the 34th edition of the traditional Samobor Salami Festival (Trg kralja Tomislava 7). An address by the President of the Republic is planned After the presentation of awards, the President of the Republic will view products made by the craftsmen of Samobor that are on display at Trg kralja Tomislava, the town’s main square.

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

15:00 - The President of the Republic will participate in the opening of the 2020 Annual Croatian Architects’ Works Exhibition and the Croatian Architects’ Association Annual Awards Ceremony (Pantovčak 241). An address by the President of the Republic is planned.

NOTE: Journalists, cameramen and photographers who wish to attend the opening of the exhibition are kindly asked to arrive at the Office of the President by 14:00 and to use the Prekrižje Villa entrance (Pantovčak 281).

16:00 - The President of the Republic will attend a formal session of the Križevci City Council (Croatian Lodge, Ulica Antuna Gustava Matoša 4) An address by the President of the Republic is planned.

11:00 - On the 76th anniversary of the prisoner breakout from Jasenovac Concentration Camp that was run by the Ustasha regime, the President of the Republic of Croatia will pay tribute to the victims of the camp at the Stone Flower Monument by laying flowers and pebbles (Jasenovac Memorial Site).

The following will be members of the delegation of the President of the Republic: former Presidents of the Republic of Croatia Stjepan Mesić and Ivo Josipović; former Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Jadranka Kosor; President of the Croatian Alliance of Antifascist Fighters and Antifascists and President of the Jasenovac Memorial Site Council Franjo Habulin; representatives of the Association of Homeland War Veterans and Antifascists (VeDRA).

10:50 - The President of the Republic will lay a wreath and light a candle at the Memorial to the Peasants’ Revolt in Proština (junction of villages Mali Vareški, Veliki Vareški and Šegotići).

11:00 - The President of the Republic will take part in observing the 100th anniversary of the Peasants’ Revolt of Proština (plateau adjacent to the Memorial to the Peasants’ Revolt in Proština). An address by the President of the Republic is planned.

09:00 - The President of the Republic will lay a wreath at the memorial to Josip Jović, the first Croatian police officer killed in the Homeland War, on the 30th anniversary of Operation Plitvice

13:00 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will host a reception in commemoration of Josip Jović, the first Croatian police officer killed in the Homeland War, and the 30th anniversary of Operation Plitvice. Medals will be presented at the event to the wounded members of the operation. An address by the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces is planned.

NOTE: Media representatives are requested to arrive at the Office of the President by 12:30.

17:00 - The President of the Republic will attend the official opening of the Children’s House in Rijeka located in the former Rikard Benčić factory. An address by the President of the Republic is planned.

NOTE: Media representatives may cover part of the official opening ceremony outdoors, however due to epidemiological measures in effect and the maximum number of persons allowed to assemble indoors, media representatives will not be able to cover the dignitaries while touring the Children’s House.

18:45 - The President of the Republic will visit the City Museum of Rijeka, the Sugar Refinery Palace of Rijeka (Krešimirova ulica 28).

11:15 - The President of the Republic will tour the Loznati Agricultural Cooperative’s cheese factory (Loznati 6A).

ORLEC

11:50 - The President of the Republic will tour the Cres solar power plant and view a presentation of the project.

CRES

12:35 - The President of the Republic will visit Moise Palace, Educational Research Center of the University of Rijeka (Giovanni Moise 1).

13:35 - The President of the Republic will tour the reconstructed and expanded western part of the port of Cres.
