Croatian Armed Forces Day and Croatian Army Day Celebrations

8:30 - The envoy of the President of the Republic Dragan Lozančić, PhD, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Defense and National Security, will take part in a joint wreath-laying ceremony at the “Voice of the Croatian Victims – Wall of Pain” Memorial, at the central cross in the walkway of the Fallen Croatian Defenders, at the tomb of the first President of the Republic of Croatia Dr. Franjo Tuđman at Mirogoj Cemetery, and at the common grave to the Unidentified Victims of the Homeland War at the Crematorium.

10:00 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will participate in a special programme marking Croatian Armed Forces Day and Croatian Army Day at the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Croatian Defence Academy (Ilica 256b) After the ceremonial inspection of the honourary unit, the President of the Republic will bestow ranks and commendations upon members of the Croatian Army.
