VICTORY AND HOMELAND THANKSGIVING DAY, DAY OF CROATIAN DEFENDERS AND THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MILITARY-POLICE OPERATION “STORM”

9:38 - The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović will attend the official ceremony marking Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day, Day of Croatian Defenders and the 25th Anniversary of the Military-Police Operation “Storm” in Knin (Dr. Ante Starčević Square).

The President of the Republic of Croatia will lay a joint wreath with the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia and Retired Lieutenant General Ante Gotovina at the Monument to the Croatian Victory “Storm ’95.”

30th ANNIVERSARY CEREMONY MARKING FORMATION OF ‘PRVI HRVATSKI REDARSTVENIK’ WARTIME UNIT

10:00 – The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović will attend the 30th anniversary ceremony marking the formation of the Prvi hrvatski redarstvenik [First Croatian Police Officer] wartime unit on Tuesday, 4 August 2020 at 10:00, at the Police Academy in Zagreb (Avenija Gojka Šuška 1). At the ceremony, President Milanović will present the award ‘Order of Nikola Šubić Zrinski’ to the Prvi hrvatski redarstvenik wartime unit for deeds of valour demonstrated by its members in the Homeland War.

RECEPTION FOR WARTIME COMMANDERS AT KNIN FORTRESS HOSTED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA ZORAN MILANOVIĆ

20:00 – On the occasion of marking Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day, Day of Croatian Defenders and the 25th Anniversary of the Military-Police Operation Storm, the President of the Republic of Croatia and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović will host a reception for wartime commanders at Knin Fortress (lower plateau) on Tuesday, 4 August 2020 at 20:00.

PRESIDENT MILANOVIĆ AT OPENING OF TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS INCUBATOR IN KRAPINA

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović will attend the opening of the Technology Business Incubator of Krapina-Zagorje County on Thursday, 30 July 2020 at 10:00 in Krapina (Bobovje 52G). An address by President Milanović is planned. After the opening of the Technology Business Incubator, a tour of the facility and a presentation of the Centre for Robotics and Emerging Technologies of Krapina Secondary School are scheduled.

LECTURE BY PRESIDENT MILANOVIĆ AT SUMMER LAW SCHOOL

12:00 - The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović will participate in the programme of the Summer Law School: Diplomacy and Law 2020 at the University of Rijeka Faculty of Law on Wednesday, 29 July 2020 at 12:00 (Hahlić 6). President Milanović will deliver a lecture to students of the Summer Law School: Diplomacy and Law 2020.

PRESIDENT MILANOVIĆ AT FORMAL SESSION OF VELA LUKA MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

19:00 The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović will attend a formal session of the Vela Luka Municipal Council on the island of Korčula on Tuesday, 28 July 2020 at 19:00 (Pijaca). An address by the President of the Republic is planned at the formal session. Prior to the formal session of the Municipal Council President Milanović will view the exhibition “Oliver u Luci Luka u Oliveru” [Oliver in the harbour, the harbour in Oliver], dedicated to the late singer Oliver Dragojević, at the Cultural Centre.
