ŠKABRNJA

On the occasion of the observance of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Homeland War and the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Vukovar and Škabrnja, the President of the Republic and Commander in chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will attend a programme commemorating the 33rd anniversary of the suffering of Škabrnja.

12:00 - The President of the Republic and Commander in chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will take part in the “Korak po korak“ procession (Step by step) from Dr. Franjo Tuđman Square to St. Luke's cemetery.

12:30 - The President of the Republic and Commander in chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will lay a wreath and light a candle at the central cross near the memorial at St. Luke’s cemetery in Škabrnja.

VUKOVAR

On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Homeland War and the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Vukovar and Škabrnja, the delegate of the President of the Republic and Commander in chief of the Croatian Armed Forces, the Head of the Office of the President of the Republic Orsat Miljenić will attend a commemoration for the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Vukovar 1991-2024 “Vukovar – a place of special homeland piety”).

Following the wreath-laying ceremony to the victims of Vukovar at the Memorial in the Croatian Homeland War Defenders Memorial Cemetery, the delegate of the President of the Republic will lay a wreath at the Memorial at the mass grave in Ovčara.
