On the Occasion of Croatian Armed Forces Day, Envoy of the President of the Republic Lays Wreaths at Mirogoj Cemetery

On the occasion of the observance of Croatian Armed Forces Day, Croatian Army Day and the 31st anniversary of the formation of the Croatian National Guard, a delegation headed by the envoy of the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Defence and National Security Dragan Lozančić, laid wreaths and lit candles at the common grave of unidentified victims of the Homeland War at the Crematorium – Cenotaph, the “Voice of the Croatian Victims – Wall of Pain” Memorial, the Central Cross in the Alley of the Fallen Croatian Defenders and at the tomb of the first President of the Republic of Croatia Dr. Franjo Tuđman at Mirogoj Cemetery in Zagreb.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Admiral Robert Hranj, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Siniša Jurković, Head of the Military Office in the Cabinet for Defence and National Security at the Office of the President Rear Admiral Predrag Stipanović, Chief of the Operations Directorate of the General Staff Brigadier General Senad Fejzić, Commander of Operations Command Brigadier General Ivan Turkalj and First NCO of the Croatian Armed Forces Sergeant Major Dražen Klanjec were alongside the envoy of the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces.
