The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović received today the delegation of the Croatian Public Relations Association (CPRA) which celebrates its 30th anniversary of operations. The Croatian Public Relations Association is the only professional association in Croatia gathering communications experts from the private, public and NGO sectors. The association was founded in 1996, and through its three decades of operations and activities, it stands for development, improvement and professionalisation of the communications profession. Moreover, the Association promotes high ethical standards, as well as systemic education of practitioners and students through mentorships, professional certifications and specialized literature development in Croatia.
The representatives of CPRA acquainted President Milanović with the activities regarding the marking of the 30th anniversary. Its central event will be the 25th and Jubilee edition of the conference “KOMferencija” taking place from 5 to 7 November in Split. The theme of the conference is “PRičajmo o STruci” [Let’s Talk about Our Profession]. CPRA will therefore address the issues of the profession’s transformation, as well as challenges ahead of it, with the influence of artificial intelligence on content creation and distribution as one of the key challenges. During the meeting, the funding of the Association, state of the communications profession, and international cooperation with other professional associations were also discussed.
