President Milanović Discusses Investments in Croatia with General Electric Company Representatives

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received in his Office representatives of General Electric Company. The delegation included Dr. Endre Ascsillán, Vice President for Strategic and Government Affairs of GE Corporate in Central and Eastern Europe and Mr. Joerg Bauer, President and CEO of Tungsram Group.

At the meeting with President Milanović, representatives of General Electric Company expressed their interest in investing in Croatia, also in the hope that this would contribute to efforts aimed at curbing the emigration of highly educated workers from the country. The President of the Republic welcomed the planned investments that would retain highly educated workers in the country and expressed hope that such investments would contribute to the economic development of the Republic of Croatia.
