Public Relations Office
The Public Relations Office informs the general public, at home and abroad, about the programme of activities of the President of the Republic of Croatia; prepares press releases; prepares responses to journalists’ questions; monitors and analyses the domestic and foreign press reporting on the work of the President of the Republic; prepares and organizes regular and extraordinary press conferences; performs media preparation tasks ahead of foreign trips of the President of the Republic (accrediting, informing and accommodating journalists); coordinates the media appearances of the Croatian presidential officials; cooperates with correspondence offices and news agencies; edits, publishes and distributes all materials informing the public about the work and activities of the President of the Republic; performs tasks of administering, creating and editing content on social networks of the Office of the President and the President of the Republic; regularly updates the President of the Republic and the Croatian presidential officials on information in the media that is relevant to the execution of constitutional and legal powers of the President of the Republic; performs translation of texts from foreign languages into Croatian and vice versa; and performs other tasks by order of the President of the Republic, the Head of Office and the Spokesperson of the Office of the President.
